Professional Trapping. No Poison. No Risk.

We remove roof rats the right way — mechanical traps, zero rodenticide, safe for your kids, your pets, and your home.

The Problem With Poison

Why We Never Use Poison.

Rodenticide seems like the easy answer. It isn't. Poison bait stations create a chain of problems that make your situation worse — not better. We made the decision years ago to remove it from our toolkit entirely, and we've never looked back.

Rats Die Inside Your Walls

Poisoned rats don't walk outside to die. They crawl into wall cavities, attic insulation, and crawlspaces — and decompose there. The smell can last weeks and there's often no way to reach them without tearing open walls.

Secondary Poisoning Kills Pets & Wildlife

A poisoned rat is a poisoned meal. Cats, dogs, owls, hawks, and foxes that eat a rodenticide-killed rat absorb the same toxin. Secondary poisoning is well-documented and often fatal to the animals that eat them.

It Doesn't Solve the Problem

Poison removes individual animals. It does nothing about the entry points that let them in. New rats move in within days. Without sealing, you're on a subscription to a problem that never ends.

Risk to Children & Pets in the Home

Modern rodenticides are anticoagulants. A child or pet that encounters bait — even second-generation bait marketed as 'tamper-resistant' — faces serious health risk. We won't put that in your home.

How We Trap. How It Works.

01

Thorough Inspection First

Before a single trap goes down, we inspect your entire home — attic, crawlspace, roofline, foundation, and exterior. We identify active runways, nesting sites, and every entry point rats are using.

02

Strategic Trap Placement

Snap traps placed along active runways and in nesting areas. Placement is based on evidence — droppings, grease trails, gnaw marks — not guesswork. We use professional-grade traps, not hardware store products.

03

Regular Monitoring & Removal

We check and reset traps on a schedule until activity stops. Every visit, we remove caught animals, assess activity levels, and adjust placement as needed. You're never left wondering what's happening.

04

Entry Point Sealing

Once trapping confirms the population is eliminated, we seal every entry point we found. This is the step most companies skip — and it's the only reason results last. No sealing means they come back.

05

Final Inspection & Sign-Off

We walk the property with you, show you every sealed entry point, and confirm the home is secure. You get documentation of what was done and a guarantee that covers our work.

Safe for Your Family. Safe for Your Pets.

Snap traps are placed in locations inaccessible to pets and children — inside wall voids, along attic joists, in crawlspaces, and behind appliances. We never place open traps in living areas. No bait that can be ingested. No chemicals. No risk to the animals and people you're protecting.

Common Questions

How long does trapping take?

Most active infestations are resolved within 1–3 weeks of trapping. Larger infestations or homes with extensive entry points may take longer. We monitor until activity stops before moving to the sealing phase.

Will I smell anything during the process?

With mechanical trapping, no. Animals are removed promptly at each visit. This is one of the key advantages over poison — there's no risk of a rat dying inside a wall and decomposing.

Is this safe if I have dogs or cats?

Yes. Traps are placed exclusively in areas your pets cannot access — attic spaces, wall voids, crawlspaces, and along structural members. We never place traps in open living areas.

What if rats come back after sealing?

Our sealing work is guaranteed. If rats re-enter through a point we sealed, we come back and fix it at no charge. We stand behind our work.

Do you use any chemicals at all?

For trapping and removal, no chemicals are used. If attic remediation is needed after removal — cleaning, sanitizing, or insulation replacement — we use EPA-registered disinfectants applied by licensed technicians.
